I did notice after reinstalling windows 7 my PC started running much better than before and had that new car feel. I took the mouse back and swapped it out for a new one, the exact same model in fact.

After installing the software and drivers I plugged in the USB Transceiver. Windows began to update with the hardware wizard and in very short order recognized the device and confirmed the installation. Virtually painless and without any difficulty whatsoever I did set my PC to NOT allow the USB ports to go into sleep mode as I am aware of an ongoing issue that Microsoft is working on concerning USB devices not responding properly to wake alarms. It’s been a couple of weeks now and my mouse is still working like a dream. I’d go as far to say it’s the best mouse I ever owned and recommend it to those who are looking for a good wireless mouse.
