Ha ha, yeah, but at least SnU h-scenes serve plot purposes, there are consequences for them earlier or latter. It looks like the 'could not use it' is a pattern for plot centered vns, which just reinforces the fact they are unnecessary if they they are intended, but fail to arouse the reader. Type-moon 'mana transfering' for example is one of the laziest excuses for h-scenes there is, not only they are bad but even got removed on realta nua (so much care for them). At least nukige like Beat Blades go all out with the mana transfer excuse, bone the kunoichis everyday to keep them strong, so the majority of positive votes is not surprising here.

You're certainly right about that. I didn't read the Realta Nua version, but still, removing h-scenes (or mention of sex) that only appears on extreme situations and there's even infodump preceding it doesn't sound like a good deal (storywise that is, as nasu went out his way to set up a situation and explain all that mana transfer thing). From what i heard, it was even changed. Anyway, the point was to show that h-scenes in plotge suck because obviously creators put them there to sell. If the eroge makes it big they release all ages to sell to a broader audience (or maybe now the dev feels safe to release the magnum opus he/she wanted, instead of cheap porn?). It shows not only lack of care for the H (which was supposed to arouse the reader) and that the low score on EGS was well deserved. It's even worst for cases like F/SN in which the H removal messes up the story (Heaven's feel is a prime example imo).
